What I Ate & Did Today

A lot of people on the internet have been (for a while now) making "what I eat in a day" or "counting calories with" videos/posts, so I decided to make one – partly because I find them interesting and partly because I just felt like writing a post and this topic is the only one I could think of.


I started off the day pretty late, around 10:30am. I had had a bad, in terms of eating disorder, night previously, so my body was very tired and I slept in. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I went down to the kitchen and drank a glass of water with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Then I had a cup of coffee with some sweetener. About 30 minutes later, I made my bottomless oatmeal (my absolute favorite breakfast) for myself and my mom. I, of course, had another cup of coffee with Whole Earth sweetener and a tablespoon of unsweetened almond milk along with breakfast.


After breakfast, I was feeling anxious about food, so I ate a Chobani nonfat container of strawberry Greek yogurt. I then decided that I NEEDED to leave the kitchen if I wanted to preserve my sense of contentment in not overeating (and purging) breakfast, so I went upstairs to my room. About 20 minutes later I started doing the Ballet Beautiful workout. I don't do the entire 60 minute classic workout because it's not all on YouTube, but I followed Mary Helen Bowers through seven various videos, which added up to about an hour and 20 minutes total of ballet body sculpting :) Woo! I then took a quick shower and got dressed for the day – in my adidas pants, of course, because I feel really self-conscious about my legs at the moment.


I then drove to Wal-Mart to buy a bag of dog food for my lil fluffy boy. I also bought some Halo Top for me and my mom because we're going to do a movie night sometime this week :) I only get the pints that are 280 calories total. This time I chose caramel macchiato; hopefully it tastes good. I then got home and felt SO HUNGRY so I ate 3 dried figs, a container of coconut milk yogurt, and a banana with peanut butter. That was a lot of calories but if you don't eat enough you'll binge (and purge, if you're like me).


I then got very very upset (ANGRY) because I couldn't find my little pill box. I definitely regretted acting out later on in the day. To distract myself from my home life (and my missing pill box problem) I drove to my local Starbucks (where I'm writing this from!). I ordered a venti iced coffee with three pumps of sugar free mocha syrup, which is about 15-20 calories – not bad. And honestly it's such a good drink. Highly recommend. I did some of my DBT homework and then wrote a few posts for my blog.





When I get home I'm planning on doing some HIIT, just to warm up, and then stretch my splits. I've recently become inspired to get flexible again, basically since I started doing Ballet Beautiful. Then, after I shower, I'm going to make a vegan Bolognese dinner – black beans instead of meat and spaghetti squash instead of spaghetti. Then I'll try to look up things to do in Moscow because I'm going to be traveling to there in a week! Hopefully I'll also get to read a couple chapters of 1Q84 before bed.


Also, I really miss running but I can't wake up early enough to escape the heat and run when it's nice and chilly in the morning :/ I'll ~try~ to wake up early tomorrow :)
