I created this website for anyone that has a problem with food – whether you have an eating disorder, have disordered eating, go on crash diets, have poor or warped body image, etc. My eating disorder has made my life difficult; my hair is falling out, I'm afraid of eating at restaurants, I religiously count calories, I cry in bed, among other things. Most of all, however, it has made me feel alone, like I have no one to talk about it with. I genuinely appreciate *some* of the proana sites for bringing people who are struggling together, and I hope that my website will do something similar in a positive way and without causing distress to anyone. My recipes are meant to be safe. Food is a hot topic and I want my readers to feel comfortable, especially since so many healthy meal recipes are 300+ calories and can contain fear foods like pasta, butters and oils, and full fat cheese. I am in no way advocating any kind of dietary lifestyle; I'm not a doctor or a dietician or a nutritionist. I'm just someone with a food/anxiety-related disorder who wants to share some recipes in order to add spice and variety into your life. I hope my recipes are helpful and that you can make them your own. Hopefully I'll start a blog soon too! Happy cooking :)
