Homemade Miso Soup


The great thing about miso soup is that it's yummy, low calorie, and has protein. This soup is super easy to make. There's only four ingredients!

Ingredients and calories:

4 cups of water (0)

1/5 (85g) of a cube of firm tofu (80)

3 tbsp of white miso paste (75)

2 stalks of green onion (~10)

Total calories: ~165

Calories per serving (out of 4 servings): ~42

Bring the water to a simmer in a large pot. In the meantime, put the miso paste in a bowl and add in some hot water. Mix until smooth. Add the miso into the simmering water and stir. Cut the tofu into small cubes and chop the green onion. Add these into the soup and let it set for 5 to 7 minutes. Enjoy!
